No one will let him comeback, but the football related workouts are really cool. Probably help with Alex's mental health as well as his physical health. After watching that documentary, he went through hell. To be back doing drills that he's been doing for his entire life is remarkable. I hope his wife keeps posting that stuff. Cool to see

If Alex makes it back, that will be one of the most incredible stories in the NFL.
It would but I hope he just hangs them up. Horrific injury and hes lucky to even be walking again. Take all that money and enjoy life with the kids.
Watched the little work out video he put up taking 5 step drops. He looked so much slower, and you cant blame him for that. He needs to just hang it up and go enjoy that money. There's just no reason for him to try to comeback. Nobody would question his passion or toughness if he decided to just walk away.
I heard he almost died from his injury or almost had his leg amputated. He NEEDS to let it go and hang it up. He already has a hot wife, millions of dollars, degree in college, no need to add crippled to that list!!!
I thought he still has a ridiculously large contract. Same reason Washington won't cut him.
Cut or staying, he will be the same cap hit on the books for 2020/2021. They can save cash if they trade him

You have to watch E60 Project 11. It is very graphic and shows you in detail the intense s**t him and his wife went through. At one point he was rehabbing at a state of the art rehab facility for military veterans with catastrophic limb injuries from explosions. That is how mangled his leg became. A soldier rehabbing with him candidly said he should probably cut the leg off because otherwise he is going to be dealing with it for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, Alex is doing drop backs with pins sticking out of his leg. Unreal.

I didn't see the E60, but I heard it was pretty crazy what he went through. Either he doesn't give a sh*t about anyone's advice for him to hang it up or he's getting bad advice to play. I just can't believe his wife is supporting him to play!!! Washington should just release him so he's someone else's problem.

Its a must watch. As an added bonus his wife is narrating and has lots of screen time.

if you're at all a fan of alex, i highly recommend watching the E60. parts are extremely graphic but it's amazing to see his progress and his mental toughness to get through it all and still maintain a positive attitude.

Much as I like Smith and admire him as a person I don't think he is tradeable right now.

He's going to have to take snaps again before any team takes his contract I would think.

Agreed. I don't think he ever plays again. Honestly don't think he wants to. Using Wash to get healthy as he can knowing they can't cut him.

agree and agree. I hope he finds a way to be part of the league after he's officially done.
