Absolutely incredible.

I was just about to post this. Of all people to beat me to it. Lol.

Looking forward to passionately debating you on whether Smith is above or below average.

Unfortunately for all parties, I think Smith may have played his last snap. He may get in a game as a ceremonial gesture to demonstrate how incredible of a story this comeback was and how far he has come, but I cant see him ever playing a meaningful snap again.

I think the days of us debating what Alex currently is as a player is behind us. Because even if he does come back and plays poorly, the injury story is so incredible that it would overshadow any amount of poor play possible.
Players break their leg all the time. he's not the first person to recover from a complication.

The Shazier story being able to walk again is truly incredible

See?
the comeback kid
Wow this is an unbelievable recovery, miraculous. Really glad for him.
Good luck to Alex!!

lol. Yep. You didn't even have a chance to finish typing your post! I cannot recall any player ever coming back to play from this bad of an injury with complications.

I agree with SWH in that I hope Smith hangs them up. That seems best for his family.

Wow . This might be the dumbest thing I've read in a while ATT. I know you are very hurt and angry with Alex because he didn't turn into the player you hoped/wanted him to be, but Jesus
He's going to get COVID and become the vaccine.

Nailed it
Un freaking believable.

Alex, just take one snap and take a symbolic knee. Point up to the sky and walk away from the game. You've proven everything you need.

Go home and play with your kids forever.

Love this dude and his heart and drive.

Regardless if he plays or not, he's winner and an inspiration. Class all the way.
