Stay on topic, gentlemen. This is about today's news, not three years ago.

What's wrong with you guys. Trying to talk Alex Smith's career in the Alex Smith thread. You mods have always been hypersensitive about him.

There is a difference between posting about Smith's career backed up by stats and analysis and unsupported assertions that only repeat what has been said multiple times over many years by the same poster/posters.

Want to talk about Smith's career? Go ahead. Just make it something that contributes in a constructive way.

Could be possible that your idea of what is constructive, may not be the same as others who may see a post as being constructive?? Just saying, I see lots of things that seem unconstructive, but to the party's quoting and posting, it seems constructive to them and beneficial to their brains to let our their thoughts and feelings.... If no rules are being broken, and as we all know the zone is already super sensitive as it is already with rules, then people should be allowed to let out their thoughts in the appropriate threads regardless whether you find them constructive or not???

I'm not into the Smith v Cousins debate so I was joking anyways. But good to know you can kind of talk about his career.

How about we compair similar careers? It's interesting how everyone pretends Smith's first 7-8 years didn't happen. I'd put money on Cousins after 15 years will crush Alex's stats.

Alex's stats are better across the board. I just looked

He's STV_Q is also higher. Stat that measures how much of the team a QB carries. Way better

Every stat is better, including the STV_Q. Redskins and Vikings fans overwhelmingly want Alex.

Debate is over. Can't argue against data. Alex is better
Great job in the thread dj. Keep these guys in line.

Says the man who waited years for Cousins to have a bad game to say see, see, see. As if anyone even cares about Cousins.

Your skin seems soft from posts #493 and #491 😂
Just to wrap it up and put a bow on it (I know no one cares even though multiple people come in here on edge so this won't warrant a response), we have came to a consensus that Smith is way better than Cousins. Took years, but we agree

Alex Smith, an all time Niner for life. Hopefully Aiyuk will give up #11 when it's time to put it up in the Levi's zipper and retire his jersey. What a great QB.
