Given the injury to Sherman I think we should go get him. Going into the playoffs with Jenkins and Sherman as the corners will make this defense much better.

Isn't there like 30 teams ahead of us to place a waiver. Also if he does manage to pass waivers, doesn't he cost like 11 million?

Correct. I really doubt 29 teams will pass on him. The reason for being released would need to be really bad for everyone to say no way. When you consider some of the things that players have been released for only to be picked up by another team it's unlikely he would fall to us.

I think all he's owed is like 2 million. This would be a slam dunk signing but don't see him getting past teams like the Eagles, Seahawks, Saints (Apple replaced by Jenkins
) and Chiefs
