Originally posted by Psinex:Right tackle Anthony Davis was fined 10,000 for unnecessary roughness on Seattle defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove on a play in which Kendall Hunter gained 24 yards. "While blocking an opponent, he (Davis) unnecessarily rolled up on the back of his leg," the league said. Also, Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman was fined 15,000 for a horse-collar tackle on Frank Gore.
I nominate Michael Robinson, the traitor who went to the Seahawks and took a dirty shot into the back of the Kyle Williams' upper body. Williams was on his knees and had given himself up. He was concussed on the play and it played a part in his fumbled punts against the Giants in the championship.
When he was just asked if Kuechly was the best linebacker of the decade, he said this may be the homer in me, but I think Bobby Wagner is. No mention of Willis. What a dirt bag.

I have players I hate to face like Wilson, Rogers and Brees but I don't hate the players. I have great respect for these guys because they've reached the very top of their profession and stayed there for a long time. Whether it's winning SBs (each has one) or just creating problems for opposing teams, they are among the best in the league.

There's no reason for them to hate Kittle as long as they have the best TE in the NFL.

Going by eras is the right idea...
Late '80s till '91: Giants' players in general. Hard to single out any......maybe Leonard Marshall for that f**kin death hit he put on Joe.
'92-'95: Michael Irvin/Alvin Harper......they were good but they talked a ton of s**t off the field and had annoying on field personas as well.
'96-'09: Easiest one so far - Brett f**king Favre. The first few years, it was mostly him along with cats like Mark Chmura and others that gave us issues. But Favre was hated for being good and perhaps a bit lucky versus us too. My hate for him was so strong, that I rooted hard to see the 49ers beat the Jets in 2008 (the Patrick Willis killed Brad Smith game), and was sooooooooooo pissed that of all the QBs to lose on the last second in Minnesota, it was Favre. Then Manusky blitzed them in the preseason game the year after and Willis dropped him.........hate runs sooooo deep with Favre.
'10-'11: Probably Eli Manning. The SOB just had to be fantastic versus the 49ers and "good ole aw shucks Eli" versus many other teams.
'12 - Present: Russell Wilson and it ain't even close. I was late to the game here at least several weeks that year where I didn't really care one way or another about him. But once Kap became the 49er QB, .NET went ballistic in talking s**t about him. So I hated Wilson back in retaliation, and it's been fun times ever since!!! The thing I hate the most about him is how his extremely unorthodox style of play yields to wins and good overall stats, but he's had many seasons of just being a slighly above average QB when judged by the tape and eye test. I don't think there's a bigger gap between his perceived level of ability and his actual ability, at the QB position in recent years and maybe ever.
Craziest thing - Wilson has surpassed my hatred of Favre, which lasted 14 years, and Wilson is barely over half of those years played. Ultimately I viewed Favre as a harder to defeat/more skilled foe, and not the fortunate guy who was carried by his team (2013 NFCC comes to mind).

How is he a traitor, we're the ones who cut him. Did you just want him to stay unemployed?
His dirty shot at Kyle Williams' head/upper body from behind after he had already given himself up is the main reason why I don't like him. Like I said, the fact that he thinks Bobby Wagner is the best linebacker really reinforces Robinson as a Seahawk. He also sides with the Seahawks in any head to head with the Niners. He's a Seahawk for life. Compare him to a former Niner who left in free agency like Delanie Walker. He never pulled anything dirty like that against his former team.

The offseason he retires Kyle offers him a position on the defensive coaching staff. Book it.
No way. Sherman will play at least another year or two.
Not this offseason, the offseason. As in whichever offseason he retires.
Ah. Misread that

He's definitely the corniest fake I've ever witnessed, grossed me out hearing him talk when interviewed or mic'd up in a game

Nothing irritates me more than 'fake nice'. I get along better with people who are outright jerks than those who pretend to be something they are not.

Rodgers has a bad attitude. If you were friends with him he is probably OK. To the outside world he is just another dick.
