Lions GM Bob Quinn said that trade rumors surrounding QB Matthew Stafford are "100% false!"
It would cost the Lions $32 million against the cap for Stafford to *not* be on their roster in 2020. He also thrived in his first season under new OC Darrell Bevell before breaking his back. Any rumors suggesting Stafford could be on the move are assuredly false and erroneous.

Yeah not happening....restructured end of Dec and would have a $32M DM hit if they traded him now. Makes no sense to do that if the plan was to move him.

Why is this even on the Niners forum? It belongs on the NFL page. No way would SF be interested even if they wanted to trade him. Too expensive and he's 4 years older than Jimmy.

No QB in NFL history has more empty stats. He will retire with huge numbers that have led to nothing.

His and Rivers' career are very comparable, though Rivers had more playoff appearances.
