Speaking of the Chargers, they are in deep do-do with their season ticket and license sales. They have sold only $50 million worth compared to $500 million for the Rams. They projected $400 million in sales so they kind of missed the mark. They have only sold 25000 season tickets for a 70000 seat stadium. This is after slashing the prices on the seat licenses on about 26000 seats to 1/5th of what the Rams are charging. This is money that is supposed to help pay for the new stadium which is now estimated to end up costing about $6 billion. That's at least 5 times what Levis cost. This could end up being a financial disaster.

Who cares about records? No one cares, that's what baseball is for.

Just saying. stats and historic stats won't have any relevance anymore

How great was Dick "Night Train" Lane, in 1952 with a 12 game season he had 14 interceptions. Record still stands after 68 years.

Another way to look at it would be how bad were the QBs. Just kidding but the passing game and rules were a lot different back then Passes were more downfield and the short pass used like a run wasn't that common. Defenders could knock the crap out of receivers.

Starting in 1950, the NFL INT leader had 10 or more for 9 straight years. Besides Lane, two players led the league with 13. Compare that to the last 12 years when no player had more than 9 in a season. In the last 38 years only 8 players even had 10. And that's in 16 games. It's pretty clear that rule changes, better and bigger receivers and more precise passing has changed the game. Lane was great but his contemporaries were putting up similar numbers. Some of the athletic DBs of today would have had huge numbers back in those days.

f**k the NFL. All they care about is money and TV ratings. Taking super bowl wins away from organizations has finished me off. All they care about is a close game. What they let KC get away with the last 7 minutes to stay in the game finished me. f**k the NFL. I'm done. You guys continue to support the WWE but not I. All they want is a story line and money. Integrity of the game means nothing.

You can always watch college football. We all know how much integrity the NCAA has.

Baseball is a few short weeks away. Noteworthy, the term Astros is being expunged from all human kind records. The word Shoeless is being taken away from Joe Jackson. HOF voters can now vote for Joe Jackson.

You can go by the numbers but no one comes close to Night Train. Plus he was married to Jazz great Dinah Washington.

Well the players gain some more extra "safety" stuff for practice. And 1% more money divided up between approximately 1700 people. While the owners get 1 possibly 2 more huge income games going to only 52% of the money split between 31 owners. I'm thinkin this gets a Richard Sherman going on Stephen A Smith radio show and going off.
