All this b******t about 17 games and one extra playoff team, when they SHOULD HAVE been raising the amount of active players on game days to help lessen injuries to players.
Bunch of greedy f**ks, watering down the game.
The proposed CBA also reduces penalties for players who test positive for THC, eliminating any game suspensions strictly for positive tests. So no more getting banned strictly for smoking weed.

Getting rid of Thursday night games is the only good thing that comes from this. Adding playoff teams is stupid...adding an extra game is stupid too. It's not broken, no need to fix anything.
The league's desire to expand the regular season has been met with harsh opposition from many players, who view an expanded season as an unnecessary increase in the risk to players' health and safety. But union leaders have touted to players the benefits of the proposed new deal, which includes a higher percentage of league revenue going to players, improvements in the drug policy and discipline policy, higher minimum salaries, higher per-team spending floors and relaxed offseason work rules.
