I got the sense Hasty might need to clean up his footwork a little in the backfield, but that's ticky-tacky on my part. I loved his play overall and his burst in particular. The potential is obvious.

Indeed. He lacks the long speed, but his initial burst is fantastic. When he finds the opening, he hits it with tremendous quickness and explodes through with that crucial low center of gravity and forward lean that dj mentioned. Those qualities are so valuable and help you break tackles and get more yards than the play is blocked for, often times.

He may not be able to take it 80 yards without being caught from behind, but he can definitely do some damage with the ball in his hands.

Mostert seems to be going on IR, Shanahan needs to feed this kid the ball !!!!
Him and Wilson are more impressive the McKinnon running the rock IMO
Mostert was just a special teamer before last year, why can't Hasty emerge?
Where's NY ? Ready for Hasty to light s**t up ? Lol
Should I pick up Hasty or Jeff Wilson in fantasy

Coach is gonna keep force feeding Jet the same way he fed Coleman last year even though Raheem was breaking out every carry. So yes you should get Hasty
Going to need Hasty more and more now with Mostert out for who knows how long. He really showed something at a key point of the game in the 2nd Half. He's got that short-area quickness, the jump cuts, and he runs hard on top of that.

Getting Wilson back will help. Coleman will be back hopefully after another game or two. I just don't see Jet getting much of a heavy workload going forward - being a featured back was never his game pre-injury. Now, he just looks like he's really finding his way back and shows good spurts here and there (especially catching the ball) but that's it. Hope he can continue to show his capabilities in the passing game.
With Mostert going to IR I'd like to see hasty get a fair shake at more carries. He looked good in limited action.
I have a bad feeling we are going to use Wilson almost exclusively in the run game this week if he can go.

I would like to see Hasty get the start on 1st and 2nd down running a lot of outside zone like we do with Mostert. On 3rd down alternate Wilson and Mckinnon. Wilson on 3rd and short, McKinnon on 3rd and long.

Do we have a RB on the practice squad to bring up if Wilson cant go?

BUT I've told you guys this... it was a stupid signing from the get go... Jett isn't a true RB, he's like Percy Harvin.. we can use him all around and that's his strength, he's not a true RB...

Hasty, is not a small back, he's a SHORT BACK !!

"Take a look at this.....It's not small it's thin"

Lol Deuce Bigalow

Nice SDB

Hasty is going to have to carry the load and of course it's perfect timing now that we have to play really good teams. How lucky is everyone to be playing the Niners with the most back ups in the league? Yet teams like Arizona get to play Dallas without Dak Prescott. Or Seattle playing Minnesota without a top five pass rusher and the best running back in the NFL In rushing yards. Unbelievable luck.

Let's hope he can do a good job bc this team is much less dynamic without Mostert
Do you pronounce his last name like it rhymes with "pasty" or "nasty"... I've heard it both ways.
