Pretty sure it's pronounced "Hay-stee."

Cool. I have yet to see it appear on the weekly pronunciation guide that they give the announcers, but I admit I haven't looked very hard. Usually Maiocco tweets it out. I have heard him called "nasty Hasty" like it rhymes but I've always thought that was incorrect.
I am still trying to figure out all this Jeff Wilson love. The guy is okay but really he averages 2.4 yards per carry and everybody says jet is no good. At this point in the running game Hasty looks better than Wilson but Wilson is a good pass catcher.
Still @ that 4.03 short shuttle @ 205 lbs.

This. Best in the draft

Cause that didn't happen?

Meant 4.03,...thanks for the correction. That was the best in the combine for RBs. Next closest was 4.15.
Very strange running style and physique. Bowling Ball-ish. Tough, good to have on the team.

I'm not a huge fan of Wilson but to his credit, a ton of his runs were on the 1 yard line where he punched it in. For a minute last year he had like 4 TDs on 4 carries or something stupid like that.
He runs like that Henderson(#27) guy from the Rams. Not bad at all.

True except Hasty is shiftier
I pulled up some 2016 Devonte Freeman clips to compare him to Hasty. They have very similar builds. Freeman runs how you hope Hasty runs after a year with Bobby Turner. Freeman is a little more decisive and gets upfield with fewer wasted steps. If Hasty can eliminate some of those extra steps he takes, he could be really freaken good in this system.

Hasty is both quick ...and fast. He turns on a dime, he uses good shakes/fakes, and he is basically just getting started.

With mostert, this is an entirely different team. Without him we are just average. Then Hasty entered, and suddenly there were those quick cut backs, change of direction....not as good as Mostert, but certainly the best we have currently. Jet is a fine receiver but as a ball carrier? Nope. Nothing special. Shame, really. But jet does not remind anyone of Mostert. Wilson? Just haven't seen him much but last yr i recall him getting the ball and bulling it in when up close to goal line.

Mostert makes us a SB contender. Question is can Hasty step up into that kind of player? We'll see.
He's almost same size and build as Devonta Freeman except faster and quicker twitch.

EZ Hasty will rush for 130 easily if he gets the ball 18x!!

Well if that's the case hopefully he will be used the same way.

Meaning the outside Zone won't be a good method to use for him.

Rather the inside Zone, off tackle, and halfback Wham plays that allows him to use his exceptional juking ability.

I actually think there's a better considering Jimmy Garoppolo Mobility limitations
