Meaning the outside Zone won't be a good method to use for him.

Rather the inside Zone, off tackle, and halfback Wham plays that allows him to use his exceptional juking ability.

I actually think there's a better considering Jimmy Garoppolo Mobility limitations

Huh? Shanny pounded outside zone with Devonta Freeman with his usual counter, pin pulls, inside zone, split zone and power sprinkled in.

I just figured since he doesn't have the speed of Mostert or breida that they might not run it as often.

I could be wrong it just look like in the videos Devonta Freeman he was most successful in the inside Zone and off-tackle
The clip I posted on the previous page starts with a few outside zone runs. Freeman has solid speed. I think Hasty might be faster(and quicker).

2nd play is an OZ vs Chip Kelly's 49ers.

We have to play Seattle Saints and GB with this guy he's good but no Mostert. It was a pipe dream having all our skill positions available. Not even our backups like Reed or Coleman are available. I can't listen to anyone b***h about injuries

It's a lot better than rolling in there with just McKinnon and Wilson. Those dudes don't have the juice to really maximize those outside runs. Hasty does.

I agree it's just so frustrating. Mostert is the fastest person in the NFL with the ball in his hands and eats long TD's for breakfast and he's very hungry

Mostert really is a special RB in this system. Sometimes it's like I'm watching my favorite non-49er RB of all time, Jamaal Charles, in a 49er uniform. Mostert has been that good for us.

It sucks, but it is what it is.
Hasty will get better and better with more carries...anxious to see him catch out of the backfield. He did everything for Matt Ruhle at Baylor. He'll do it for Shanahan now.

Yes sir
I do think Hasty has to cut back on the dancing behind the los to be fully successful in this scheme. I know it would be hard though cause his cuts and jump cuts is what makes him special and a joy to see. We'll see what he does in his future opportunities hopefully this Sunday!
I want to see a 50/50 split with him and Jet on sunday vs pats.

Jet is good out of backfield but this kid was a nice change of pace.
I am worried that when Coleman comes off IR they will leave Hasty unprotected and someone will claim him. They need to protect Hasty at all cost. Especially when all our RB's have injury concerns. Plus we will need him next season, with both Jet and Coleman being free agents.

Maybe if the guy has several big games. Nobody is going to claim him right now. Not that hard to find backs next year. I think Hasty will be in the rotation with Mostert and another back.

I wouldn't worry about that. Hasty is going to get a lot of touches in the next few weeks. Play well and everything will take care of itself.
his jump cuts are filthy
