That's the downside to Shanahan RB's. They don't last long. They cannot take a full season of NFL pounding and stay healthy. So you've got to have 5-6 guys spread out over the roster and PS to handle a full NFL season. Depending upon how much we use Hasty, I don't think he'll last more than 2-3 games, and we'll be lucky to get that out of him. We have another Shanahan prototype on the PS who can be elevated, and probably will be. By the time that player gets hurt and goes down, hopefully Tevin and Raheem will be ready to go.

I just wish we hadn't let Breida go. Yeah, he was another Shanahan prototype who dealt with ankle issues that never seemed to go away, but he was good for a game or three when we needed him.

I hope the 49ers start JaMychal Hasty against the Seahawks. He's a more dynamic back than Tevin Coleman. I will be happy to have Coleman back fro depth, but Hasty proved last week he can make explosive plays. I'm worried our offense will bog down with Coleman starting, and getting most of the snaps. Right now I rank Mostert, Wilson and Hasty 1,2,3 as our running backs.

Teco softens up the D then Hasty goes for 20. Will be the same as last year with Teco starting then Mostert coming in fresh VS a tired defense.

Imo he will stay healthy and Mostert will miss more games due to injury in the future. I love Mostert too but being a RB always favors the youngr guys. I hope Mostert keeps going strong too, but either way we have two really talented guys in those two.
