Hasty while showing flashes still needs more time to develop so a rookie with promise will be a good thing. Able backfield guys can be pickup undrafted as we've seen. This looks to be a productive group.

It's also a group that can't stay healthy. Will need a PS RB or two, or a cheap vet on standby

He actually got more chances and made more plays after that Giants game. His broken collarbone in November is what stopped him from playing

wilson has done so much for this team. hasty has a very small body of work... the two are not comparable in my opinion.. losing wilson is big for this team

I agree that Wilson is much more valuable than Hasty but I don't really agree that losing him is big fir the team especially not when we added Gallman, Sermon and Mitchell to the rotation.

I'd argue that Gallman is actually a better player than Wilson and that the two rookies should offer excellent depth after that, with Hasty still on the practice squad. I don't think the 49ers will miss a beat.

saying that Gallman is a better player than Wilson NOW is idiotic... what's he done and what's he shown??

but not to worry, our rejects will just end up finishing their career up in Seattle !!
RB1 and RB2 are for sure going to be Mostert and Sermon. The other two spot will be an all out battle between Gallman, Hasty, and Mitchell. Gallman will really have to impress to make up for his age. I think he could find himself the odd man out if Mitchell balls out.

Imo there's zero chance that Hasty makes Gallman expendable.
