Why was he on the practice squad? Numbers and seniority game?

With no preseason to show his ability no way in hell was he going to get time over Mostert, Coleman and McKinnon

He looks really shifty, hasty should return kickoffs now that McKinnon is RB1

He should be on the active roster over Coleman

Dude is a stud athlete as well. SPARQ score was in the 90th percentile, which was 2nd in the draft only behind AJ Dillion and ahead of Jonathan Taylor.

He's the same size as CEH and had a faster 40 (4.55).

39" vert 90 percentile
123" Broad Jump 80th percentile
4.03 20 yard shuttle 95th percentile

everything that shows explosiveness/quick twitch ability he's elite at.
Excited to see this kid get some touches. Hopefully we don't have to see Coleman again

Thought exactly the same (seniority) till I read your post. We will see what he's got!

Of course there was a way in hell,...he's a RB, not a WR or QB. The coaches simply chose to play things a different way.
I'm worried about Hasty, he can only be active off the PS and revert back twice this season, with Coleman out up to 4 weeks, they could promote him to the 53, IR Coleman, but when Coleman is back, they'd have 5 RBs and a FB, I'd hate to cut either Wilson or Hasty of fear they get claimed off waivers. As for Hasty's game, looking forward to officially seeing in a 49ers uniform on Sunday.

This is the first time for him being activated right? So they have only once more after....hmmmmm yeah don't want to loose him either

Correct, same here, I don't want to lose Hasty, he seems to have a bright future in the backfield, could make Coleman expendable next offseason, I'd honestly be cool with Jet, Mostert, Hasty, and Wilson or another rook or vet at RB in 2021.

Definitely cut and go, he has a fast change of direction but he always seems to go upfield.
