Denver signs OL Tom Compton

My guess is Brunskill was getting the starting job. Save $2.5mm vs the cap and bring in a cheaper backup.

So, he played for Shanahan and knows how to choke in the superbowl...he'll fit right in.

Moneyball strikes again.
Camp body?
Compton will be deactivated every week. He will be the 9th OL on the roster. He will get Min. Salary. This year NFL teams can have 8 OL suites up on game days. No sense in paying a lot more for Person, who won't start. It's Brunskill's job to lose at RG. An upgrade at the starter spot, while saving money. Compton has been in the system.

WTF we got swindled
More room under the cap to be flexible in trade opportunities and the draft. It's a solid move, even though we are probably downgrading in backup talent.

Guess what I saw reported was wrong lol

I Paraag I trust. Person could have had a post April 1st roster bonus for all we know, where cutting him now would be cheaper than cutting him in August.🤷🏽‍♂️
