Could be a sneaky-good acquisition in this D scheme. Between him and a healthy Blair, some good DL depth that can get after the QB.

I was pretty livid to find out Buck was gone, Day not so much though I liked him off the bench...I think we'll be fine with all the depth we still have. Hopefully Ford can stay a lot more healthy than he was last year, that will be key.

Agreed, Hyder could be sneaky good for us this year. CB/IOL/WR are our 3 biggest needs going into the draft.

I concur. Hyder is a freakin beast

Not sure if being sarcastic, but on a real note, this signing really does solidify the rotation at the very least

Hyder and Kocurek definitely have a familiarity going on and bout to go "game recognize game" ...he'll be a surprise impact all year

Ok, i never even heard of Hyder. But the fact that he has played for Kocurek and he likes him, is a big deal to me. Then the video clip above, and i am sold. I like the deal, i like his film, and oh yeah, didn't we just discuss Dee and his ability to answer the bell? This looks like a perfect match, as long as the guy can still move and make tackles. He looks like a replacement part that is too good to be true. Looks like perfect fit with Dee questionable a whole lot of last yr. (226 plays). So sign me up. In his clips he looks pretty good to me. And it just so happens to fill a very definite need for us.

Exactly. Familiarity and the dude is gonna be sweet in the rotation. Hopefully we can get our money's worth out of Ford's ass this year if even for a shortened one at that.
