Not bad. Not bad at all. The depth of the D-Line with guys like Omenihu, Willis and now Hyder could be one of the strenghts of the Niners again next season. I still hope they draft a speed rusher with the second rounder but it will be difficult with a late second rounder.

good job,,, no all pro,,, who knows what hyder we are getting. but at least lynch is doing something to help bosa and our depth with him and willis.. now... i think we can kick a pass rusher down to a third round pick. and use our second on the best o line guy out there??? i have heard its a good draft for pass rushers.... we also need a good dt cuz we suffered some big losses there... i am proceeding as if jacob is not on the team which is not all that unreasonable in ccs opinion.. i am also proceeding as if we will only have one second round pick and no second round pick for jimmy who i assume will still be on the team on draft day and beyond,,, but good job lynch in getting willlis back and hopefully as 408 said,,, the 2020 hyder

Don't we have a 6th round comp pick from Seattle signing him too lol. IIRC signing a guy that's been released doesn't count towards our comp picks for next year either. Win win

i would rather do a vet o line guy.... i would rather find a fast kid in the draft.. but if he comes here thats fine.. just surprise the packers are not looking at him

Ebukam did flash late in the season, but he's on his last year.
Omenihu is a base DE and passing downs DT ala Armstead. At least we have 4 true edge rushers with experience on the roster w. Bosa, Ebukam, Hyder, and Willis.
Pair that with a mid-round pick, and we are in a good spot from a depth perspective.

With Hyder resigned, that puts us at about 11 DL on the roster, which is how much we carried last year. I still think drafting an edge is a good idea, but it's less of a priority with Hyder back
