I agree. Open this s**t up so teams can go with matte colored helmets. I normally don't like the Vikings helmet but man it looks good with that matte purple.

The Falcons did switch to matte helmets.

I think they should have just stuck with the throwbacks with maybe a tweak or two. I can't stand the Broncos-like piping on the pants.

I don't really give a crap what other teams wear as long as they don't start messing with the Niners uniform. It's all about trying to sell more stuff to the fans which is why it's usually the bad teams that do this. Good teams sell their merchandise based on on field performance or tradition.

Come on you don't want a red jersey fading to gold at the bottom like the Falcons New Jersey
