Yeah, sports won't be back until there is a vaccine.

Maybe they will come up with an effective treatment until a vaccine is found that will allow everything to open back up.

So the Rams put out a notice right away that they would refund season ticket holders pro-rata for all games not played. Jed? Not a word.

Nobody is going to get scammed. Relax dude.

Just follows the pattern of PR boondoggles is all I'm saying.

Yeah man. Screw winning! Telling your team's fans about refunds before any other team is where the REAL W's are at!

I have no clue what you are talking about. This isn't about winning or losing, but simple reassurance from ownership that if games are missed they will do the right thing. Period.

You're hopeful.

THE TREVOR LOTTERY !!

I wonder what Cincy would do if they end up winning the 2021 Trevor Lottery a year after drafting Joe Burrow !!

Belichick will find a way to snag that pick right from their lame ass owner's filthy hands

You think people are pissed and protesting now...….cancel the NFL season. That'll help.

Lol you think you're getting charged for games that don't happen? Why do you need an email?
Sports is done. We had a good run. Thousands of years in a row. New Stanford University study says Covid 19 kills 0.1%. 1/10 of 1 percent. Like seasonal flu. Original numbers massively over exaggerated because they didn't take into account all the people who survive. Non symptomatic, low symptoms who heal at home and never get tested. It's way more widespread and way less deadly than advertised.

Sports is done. Somebody might catch a cold in a stadium of 80,000 people.

Merely being young does not guarantee a healthy immune system. I think we have all seen plenty of young people abusing their bodies with alcohol, drugs, bad diet, lack of exercise and proper rest, etc. Those people are vulnerable.

Fatuous.

By the way, here's a link. The FT is a highly regarded publication internationally.

So, they believe that UK government figures are massively understated and that we already have over 40,000 deaths directly attributable to the virus. In a couple of months. I know it is official policy of the US right wing to dismiss the impact of the virus and to try to convince everyone that the economy is way more important, but when even the barking-mad right wing UK government is afraid to take that viewpoint, having held that line to begin with, perhaps you should be a little more open minded. There are a lot of dead people around the world, and a lot of people mourning them. I don't think that this sort of post is helpful or justified.

45,000 is the US in around 6 weeks is huge. The Vietnam War took just over 50,000 lives in just under 10 years. No flu has killed that many in the US in weeks.

The fact that the President and many states are running around contradicting each other demonstrate the level of cooperation of different levels of government is poor and this is not the way to work efficiently to solve this crisis.

Accordingly, the prognosis is not good that the football season will start on time. Some states will be better then others which will cause all sorts of nightmares for the NFL in organising the season. I cant see there being an fans at games if it does start. My outlook is extremely pessimistic that NFL will start this year at anything other then a splutter.
