You trust people in politics? Wow.. I don't care which party you are because all parties & politicians lie.

haha well I graduated with a political science degree so...

Nobody trusts or believes science nowadays. You know, climate change, round earth, magically appearing fossil records, nasa conspiracies etc
... then you add politics to it?
Man, you got no chance.
I hope our players are taking this Covid-19 situation seriously.

We could actually lose players to this virus!

We are not going to lose any players to this. We are doing this to flatten the curve for elderly and immune compromised. A young professional athlete would have an immune system like a buzz saw to go right threw this thing. It's no problem for them. Other than they could lose the season and money. That's their biggest worry.

The article and other factors...

1) He recovered.
2) He did not die.
3) He is older and many years removed from his playing days.
4) You have no idea what his preexisting conditions are.
5) He is a statistical outlier. Of thousands of players and former players he is what you could come up with.

Many healthy young adults around the word even teenagers have already died from the virus. Many athletes have already contracted the virus. Pro athletes succumb to seasonal flu all the time and they recover at the same pace as us regular folk. Unless youre a doctor and know your s**t i would avoid talking in absolutes about stuff like this.

anti-jinx!!
If the season doesn't start by mid-October, it will get cancelled.

Cancelled? NO... played in empty stadiums YES ( sound piped in) Thankfully the NFL is mostly a made for TV sport including pre scripted out comes. get yo popcorn ready

Hopefully the Seahawks can give the rest of the nfl some tips on this
At this point no. Just look at wrestling. They tried the empty stadium approach but then the state goes into lockdown mode and it's over with. Even if you go to a few sites you may have to change it at a moments notice / just live with players in quarantine and missing games.

Newsome saying no NFL football in the fall.
MLB considering playing in empty stadiums....well that's pretty normal for them
This thing is much bigger than I originally thought. Be ready. NFL is only one thing that's going to change for us. Covid-19 is exponential in many aspects
