Javon Kinlaw is a Jet!-Pick #14, 2020 NFL Draft.

Von Miller wanted Denver to draft Kinlaw instead of a WR. He knows a good DL with a high ceiling when he sees one.

I like the kid, but anyone who thinks he is coming in next year and making us forget about Buckner is delirious.

He's making us be able to sign tons of players for the next 4-5 years while having alot of potential himself.

Buckner's contract needs were going to lock us up. Maybe we should skip on working something out for Kittle? TE's are relatively much cheaper and we certainly cant keep everyone.

Kyle named his dog after George Kittle. He's getting extended.

At least this one moves like he's 6-3, 290 lbs.
Risky pick... but after watching just a few of his highlights I already feel better about him than Solomon Thomas. Hopefully he can be at least 80% as good as Buckner. As good or better isn't probable but it's a genius move if he is.

I'm not worried about his knee. He recently said his knee is 100%.

Just curious: why was Derrick Brown rated above him? Not saying those ratings were wrong just wondering why. Surely it's more of a reason than "because Kinlaw's knee might be screwed."

I'm trying to figure out the same. Maybe that he didn't go the JUCO route and played longer in the SEC??

He's a dancing bear is why.

People think he doesn't have any potential to rush the passer but he surely does. But now when you factor in the RUN STUFFING,...well,...keep in mind the way we ran roughshod over and through teams on our way to a Superbowl trip. Being able to stop the run will always be important,...passing league or not.

The reason I'm seeing is that Brown was regarded as a more developed player now, while Kinlaw was often seen as the player with higher ceiling.
Not looking @ any tape and just knowing they're rated highly,...well just look @ the difference in body types even at around roughly the same weight.

A large, large difference. But hell, if anything, that's just telling me Kinlaw is going to be a little more nimble on his feet while realizing that Brown must have a helluva lot of natural strength that you simply don't get out of a weight room. He caused absolute chaos for blockers this past year.

Pretty much what I've read. Brown is better with his hands and plays double teams better. Kinlaw is more explosive but also doesn't have a wide variety of moves. I'm excited to see what playing for Kocurek and alongside a technician like Bosa can do for his game. I think he fits our DL like a glove.

I wanted to go WR at 14, but I'll be over that in a week. I'm looking forward to watching both Kinlaw and Aiyuk next year.
It's not like a lot of our interior DL were dropping like flies last season when we needed them most....
Oh wait, a lot of our interior DL were dropping like flies last season when we needed them most.
This pick is solid.

Browns more polished and was a bit more consistent. Kinlaw is considered raw and needs more coaching with his technique.
Kocurek sent Shanny and Lynch pictures of Javon Kinlaw every day.
