I am setting expectations for Kinlaw similar to Armstead. Good size, unrefined technique. Hopefully Kinlaw stays on the field more than AA did in the first couple seasons, but I am expecting a somewhat similar development trajectory.

This. I remember all the reports of how good Armstead looked during his second training camp. He was reportedly one of the standouts on defense then he hurt his shoulder and tried to play through it for half the season until they finally put him on IR.

Chris Jones is my developmental comp...Kin is 30Lbs bigger than AA (and 2 inches shorter). His arms are almost 2 inches longer as well. Just based on tape, athletically Jones and Kin are very comparable.
Kin might not be a day one elite pass rusher...he most certainly is gonna demand multiple blockers, not got moved around (Buck had issues with that), and will at the very least push that pocket yr 1.

What a horrible opinion article, literally that dude has no more understanding of football then a normal WZer (which is fine). Hope they don't pay him for that lol. I mean all he did was regurgitate a couple tweets (just the bad ones) and copy and paste someone else's work... Kid wasn't at camp watching Kinlaw, why should anyone take his opinion as anything...
Be better WZ

Every time Jeudy or Lamb has a decent game or catches a TD we're going to hear what a mistake it was to take Kinlaw who can't play every down. Kinlaw may take longer to develop since WRs are often ready quicker than some other positions but I think by year 2 or 3 people will be glad that we took him, especially if Jeudy or Lamb end up being like so many other pain in the butt receivers.

Aslong as the Niners are winning games it won't matter.
