I don't wanna get called a clown or anything but Rashan Gary is a f**king bust.

who was the guy who was convinced he was the best player in the draft and was dying for us to draft him? Big Michigan homer...

Kinlaw may take longer to develop since WRs are often ready quicker than some other positions but I think by year 2 or 3 people will be glad that we took him, especially if Jeudy or Lamb end up being like so many other pain in the butt receivers.

Lol that's not true at all. It's often said that other than QB, WR is the next position that is hardest to adjust. Year 3 is typically the magic number for WRs. DT is one of the easiest to adjust. I'll likely get pissed and overreact because I wanted Jeudy or Lamb in that spot, but like NY mentioned above, if Aiyuk balls out I'll be alright

And if Aiyuk rocks out?

Then we could have had Cesar Ruiz, YGM or some other obscure pick that no one really thought we needed but that player balled out his rookie year.

It's gonna be like the Arik Armstead and Marcus Peters comparisons lol

I wanted Antoine Winfield but no way at where Kinlaw went. Kinlaw was drafted 1000000% off of potential anyone expecting him to have any kinda impact this year was being unrealistic tbh. I'll be thrilled if he gets to my prediction of 2.5 sacks.
I wont mind if he has only like 3+ sacks, as long as he tightens up our Run D and eats up two olineman, let armstead, bosa and ford feast on the sacks.

I don't foresee us having a good run D.

I am setting expectations for Kinlaw similar to Armstead. Good size, unrefined technique. Hopefully Kinlaw stays on the field more than AA did in the first couple seasons, but I am expecting a somewhat similar development trajectory.

100%. My exact developmental comp.

Chris Jones is my developmental comp...Kin is 30Lbs bigger than AA (and 2 inches shorter). His arms are almost 2 inches longer as well. Just based on tape, athletically Jones and Kin are very comparable.

Kin might not be a day one elite pass rusher...he most certainly is gonna demand multiple blockers, not got moved around (Buck had issues with that), and will at the very least push that pocket yr 1.

Sky high ceiling with a high floor as well.

We're talking about developmental path like AA. So, two years (3 if injured a lot) before we start to see it all come together but consistent flashes along the way to raise your eyebrows to remind you.

I was really high on Winfield as well. He will be I the league for 10 years at a decently high level imo.

We were out of draft position on him . When he was a projected 5th-6th rounder I thought we could have a chance

Oh, no, not at 14. Although I would feel better right now if they had and added Aiyuk still.
