I like it.
Let´s face it, this is a front office that want to build the trenches with high picks in the draft.
That´s why I never thought that their priorirty was a WR if they stayed pat at 13.
I always thought that it was gonna be a OT first or Kinlaw ultimately.
Kinlaw is a damn good player already. He is a good pass rusher. He dominated at the Senior Bowl.
He ´s a litte bit raw. He ´s not the almost perfect technician Bosa was basically.
I would say he ´s between Buck and Armstead as a prospect.
My only concern is that I would have probably prefered Tristan Wirfs. And Wirfs is raw also and maybe will be a guard.
But I feel he was the right guy to prepare for the day Joe retires (the later possible).
I don´t know maybe they are confident in Brunskill. And he was really good this season but argh Wirfs was a good opportunity.

I won´t say I was amazed by this pick but since I´m on the "You need to win on the trenches" train, I was quite happy.

Top DT in the draft IMO. Dude can straight up f**k up games. Line him up with AA/Bosa/Ford I like that.

Yeah 6-2 280 vs. 6-5 325. Pretty much identical. (sorry replied to wrong post)

I'm not sure on the comparison to Buck and AA, I think this guy has a higher ceiling the more I watch of him.

He is so quick off the ball, agile for his size and strong that he could be something really special if he works and can realise his potential.

I'm not too worried about any of our DLine technique with Bosa on the team because he seems happy to help guys figure it out.
I don't know how to fix tendinitis but if I'm Kinlaw and Ford for that matter, I would use the time right now to fix it since Covid-19 is throwing a potential major wrench into the 2020 season.
Lol SF media has to hate this. First we have Bosas awkwardness in front of the camera and now we got Beastmode 2.0 with the media lol

I'm not sure there is much you can do other than manage it. I suffer from tendinitis in one of my knees, both ankles, elbows etc. It comes and goes somewhat randomly it seems. I'll have a nasty flare up for a couple of months then go years without having any pain.
I like this pick.
This pick, even though I wanted Wirfs or Lamb is the kind of pick you make to get back to the Super Bowl. Lynch wants a top 3 D line for sure.
We shall see.......

The dude was far from unblock-able in college. We are talking about a guy who peaked at 35 tackles a season and never hit double digit plays behind the line of scrimmage, even though he was a 4th year Senior. He was light years from the player someone like Nick Fairley was who basically peaked around twice the tackles and 25 tackles behind the LOS with double digit sacks.

Maybe he makes for a better pro then he did college player. He would have never been surrounded by so much dline talent before.....of course we can say that about every college prospect......

Lets hope.

Have an odd feeling he'll have an AA first 3-4 seasons before it clicks.

Tendinitis goes away with rest. It wasn't something he's dealt with his whole career or anything, it literally happened at the Senior Bowl. His knee is fine reportedly.

Ford has tendinosis which is a chronic issue. That can take month to recover (or not at all).

The knee issues of Ford and Kinlaw are not comparable. Please stop doing it.

Ford's will end his career. He has tendonosis. A chronic degenerative condition.

Kinlaw had a couple weeks of tendinitis.

They are not the same.

Don't worry,....give it a few days,...you'll like him. You always like all of our picks.

Should I pay rent living in your head?

I have no issues with the Kinlaw pick and I don't get where you're reading that from what I said. And I've always said once they're a 49er they have my full support whether or not I loved the pick or hated it. Any fan who isn't doing that should be ashamed of themselves.

Looks like he was constantly getting doubled, even tripled. It is going to be harder for teams to do that on a regular basis with the 49ers DL talent. Plus, he will be fresher with the depth and waves of other lineman coming in.

What is funny to me is the amount of moaning and b***hing that went on in here when Buckner was traded. Weakening a strength, etc. And when the 49ers draft a player that seemingly will eat up most of that loss with a huge ceiling ... there is more complaining.
