Would love to hear this...please tell me how you would've gotten that pick from Indy for a free agent Arik Armstead. I'll wait.

You have never built a team in Madden?

I'll bite. They were going to do a sign and trade like the NBA

Not even close to Buckner's first year. I like Kinlaw but he is no where near Buckner numbers.

Did you even watch the game yesterday?

Who were our DT's...hint, our top 2 DT's were out.

Nah man I didn't watch yesterday.
But What exactly does that have to do with anything? Lol . Just stop. You get your angles and you just don't stop 😂

Yea I don't quite understand why some get so twisted when all some of us would like is the front office to give resources to the O-Line like they do the D-Line to protect our FQB. Is that to much to ask, or to hard for a few of you to understand??

There is nothing getting twisted. It's folks they twist s**t around and make disingenuous statements about players they don't like because the guy they wanted didn't get picked; that's it, might have a better shot at being taken seriously if folks would just keep it on the level . Lol but they can't

It is odd to need to spend high picks and funds on guys who block dudes who are a dime a dozen.

LOL. Hoov, "twisted" is the perfect word for your understanding of my point...explained twice for you.

Kind of hard to understand the point if you didn't see the game without Kinlaw and Givens.

This is easy.

DL coaching/Development >>>> OL coaching/Development

It's how back in the day it seemed McKittrick could turn your uncle Ralph into an All-Pro. We're seeing this to a degree with Koucerek. He can identify players not on the team along with guys we already have and turn them into stars. Bobby Turner does the same with RBs.

Benton isn't there yet. How much would we need to pay Alex Gibbs to come out of retirement?

Totally.

TBF, Kocurek has been given premier talent like no other but he's also treating every DL equally and all are getting snaps while getting the most production out of them. Like Turner with the Arby's. Give him his traits and he'll get the most out of them...career years, even.

Benton? He still needs talent as those are 1K players built around chemistry. He's been given run blocking and movement traits and no doubt that's a heavy focus. But as a pass protection unit, he isn't getting anything out of these guys and 2 guys have already regressed from last year in PP in Brunskill and McGlinchey. So does he need better PP talent or more focus on PP or both?

^^^ for someone who dislikes and tries to throw shade at Kin so much, you're in his thread quite a bit, eh?

How about give it a rest and go evaluate some IOL

Like Hoov, you totally missed the point. Kinlaw just represents the choice of using a top pick on a DT.

As to OL, yeah, that discussion will probably never end under this regime.

If you truly believe this then you're wasting your time complaining about it all day everyday...it's not like they can hear us lol.

I'm not gonna debate DT vs IOL, we've been down that road about 15 times now. You have your thoughts, I have mine.

The defense is based around having a top end DL, they had to move on from Buck and selected IMO the top DT (for this system). You give praise to Kocurek quite a bit...apparently Kin was HIS guy. So let him develop, let him at the very least get a full off season before you throw judgement on a player we all know you didn't even evaluate.

So like I said, you want your OL go evaluate the prospects...you've made this topic YOUR topic in here, so come back with some actual info on who they should draft (and I'm not saying to go look at someone else's big board and pick the top rated OL ) instead of complaining about what didn't happen and the results of it after the fact.

The only thing that makes me question this pick is we play Wilson and the Murray twice a year. Staying disciplined and have the guys stay in their lanes to contain these guys is huge. That's why blitzing quicker guys around the edge worked so well against Murray. His lanes weren't as wide as in the first game.

Completely agree with this take. Coaching plays a huge part in development along with players hard work and dedication. To just insert <better playing player in a completely different position> here is a bit unrealistic.

Is Wirfs doing well right now? Sure. But, that doesn't mean it would completely translate over to us. On the other hand, he could have been the reason Jimmy G plays the entire season. We will never know.

But, trying to replace a rookie DT who has done a quite formidable job at his position and under the circumstances of no preseason and playing during the first pandemic in the last 100 years, just seems like sour grapes for the team not drafting the player someone wanted.

Pretty obvious I was being sarcastic. And pretty sure your comment still has zero relevance. They didn't pick Wirfs, get over it she stop trying to downplay the guy the did pick, as if that somehow makes you right or something . So transparent what you are doing lol
