That's one of the biggest mofo's I've ever seen At the very least he will be better than Buckner against the run and worse against the pass.

I think we'll see a glimpse of who Kinlaw can become by the end of 2021, and in 2022, he should be close to what he is to become. The dude is just sooo damn raw and barely understanding what the hell he's doing out there, which isn't surprising at all because that's who he was in his college tape. The covid offseason hurt him more than any other player on our roster. He badly needs the coaching and reps. From basic fundamentals like pad level in run defense to the nuances of pass rushing(ie working a plan, developing a go-to move and using that to set up a counter, dealing jump setters, high-hand punchers vs low-hand punchers, using footwork to manipulate an OL's pass set, etc.), Kinlaws got a long road ahead of him.

Very well said. I couldn't agree more. If he doesn't work out, good thing the DT is massively oversaturated and should continue to be for years.

Genetic freak... and he's an intense dude and a worker. He's going to be a great one. But it's hard to break out of habits when you've been dominating just off athletic ability alone for the last 15 years of your life.

But I have no doubt he is going to have a huge year, especially with the talent around him.
