What a terrible take lol

Yeah, Kinlaw's main responsibility will be stopping the run and eating up double teams to allow the LB's to eat. It would be a bonus if he is a threat as a pass rusher too, if for nothing else to allow Bosa to play as much 1 vs 1 as possible. Kinlaw will be one of the interesting watches early in the season.

.. SO, we traded a SUPERSTAR for a player that need to stop the run ??

NO COMEBACK ??

This you?

"Bucko " Sucko " is a steady DT who many thinks has arrived as an All Pro.. but the truth is he's not even HALF WAY THERE yet ..."

"going back to the subject, NO ONE'S arguing how good of a STAR he is... but no, he is NOT a superstar..

last year was his "coming out" party, and this year, he needs to prove it if he's a SUPERSTAR.."

"... and when he lights it up this year, then he can be call a SUPERSTAR.. ..

.. no other excuses for him this year, right??"

You spent years arguing that he wasn't a superstar. And he wasn't worth top money. Now that he's gone, you want to call out the FO for letting a "Superstar" go. Cmon man

11 minutes? You need to be a little more patient. By the way, if you check around the various NT threads you will find that your question has been answered.
Very confident in Kinlaw. He has great football instincts and moves for a big guy. Not sure about knee issues.

That's not accurate--at least not in this system. This is a penetrating defense meaning Kinlaw's job is to attack. "Play the run on the way to the QB" is one of the heuristics used to teach this system. Kocurek doesn't want his IDL getting stuck on blocks. He wants them in the backfield.

Make no mistake about it: Kinlaw was drafted to rush the passer. You don't draft an interior DL 14th overall to stop the run. Those type of players can be found on day 3 or available off the street as FAs. Kinlaw was drafted because he possesses elite pass-rushing traits, and the team is banking on him eventually learning to use those traits.

HERO,

we have gone against each other's opinion 80% of the time and this is the few moments that I need to bow down to your post...

GO TELL EMMMM !!!

Agree!
