Kinlaw better get his big ol' ass out there and start showing why he was taken 14th overall. If Street is the best interior pass rusher we've got going into the season, we're in deep s**t.

Contrarily , if he is in good shape, then we are in GOOD schidt.

If Kinlaw is the exact same player he was last year, we are in deep s**t. This team can't go into the season relying on Nick Bosa to carry the load. Not only does Kinlaw need to be healthy, he needs to get better--a lot better.

Kinlaw got a pass for last season because 1) he was a rookie 2) he had an unusual/disrupted/shortened otas/camp. But here we go again missing time that he badly needs for his development.

Come on now… this is some funny sh*t.

Cool… Street played more snaps while Kinlaw won rookie of the week. Cohn is a shock jock troll, throwing in that Street Kinlaw line was calculated with out context cause actually watching the game rather than relying on a tweet tells a different story.

Did Grant Cohn seriously get you?
Fully aware of everyone's tendency to worry about Kin's knees. But honestly, the way they are cautiously bringing him along is my preference also. It's the right way to do it. Sometimes slowing things down pays big rewards down the road. We'll all stay tuned, but i hope this is the right path.

The other way to look at it is that Kinlaw didn't have Bosa or Ford pretty much all of last year.

He will improve but so will the play around him. I still think that him and DJ Jones are the two best run stopping defensive lineman we've had since Justin Smith.

I know run defense isn't sexy as getting sacks but there's a reason our defense played well with all the injuries and Kinlaw was part of that.

Injuries are always concerning but I'm not worried about his play on the field.

I mean when you tell the world that you are not injured only to be treated as such at practice, I understand the concerns. The excuse last season was that he missed out on all of this and here we are

Yeah, I'd have no issues if he was the 1T in that regard. But the 3T is the premier interior pass rusher. And we need that badly no matter the ER's.
