The irony of Grants comment is that 1 on 1 he was solid and against the raiders basically won his assignment based on reading run or pass. He needs allot of help with double teams still, luckily his motor will help negate his mistakes there. But yeah, rewatched his snaps from the first half... 1 on 1's isnt where he struggles.

Hes 310 lbs with abs, so he's probably not going to struggle 1 on 1 very often.

yes.. that is a credit to lynch and kyle for getting the needed pieces. they saw in 2019 what good depth means and saw last year what bad depth means and with bosa and ford unknowns.. we hope they are fine.. they knew they needed to act... i can give lynch credit like this. and overall doing very well in free agency and giving him credit for blowing two first round picks at the start of a rebuilding project and yet going to the super bowl a year later., but as always. we give him and kyle credit for things when they go right and we rightfully hold them accountable when they make mistakes

I predict 5.5 sacks for Javon this year.

Yup yup. No need to ever spend 1st round capital on a DT unless he's an excellent pass rusher. As you're seeing, there's an overabundance of DT's. Hell, we got edge rushers, IDT run defenders and pass rushers for free from the Raiders. Massive pool of these kinds of players. Oversaturated market now.
