Kinlaw was one of the standouts vs the run. There's no question that will be what the Lions try to do against us...run the ball and try to wear down the defense. Not a great time to be thin on the interior but hopefully the other guys step up and the offense does their part so Detroit has to pass.

Young man with an old man knee. Kinlaw wasn't considered a refined player, even for a rookie last season, so he needs to play/practice to get better. It's the damn crocs.

is nick bosa a young man with an old knee?

huh? I'm talking about Kinlaw.

huh? I'm asking if the same logic applies to bosa

Does Bosa have a sore knee? I have not heard of it. I don't understand what you're getting at.

The only people who didn't see this coming were Lynch and NYNiner85

I don't necessarily think missing out on the #14 pick is brutal, history is littered with 1st round busts. What hurts is losing buck, an incredible player who never missed a game, because we were targeting this guy.

Bummer

lol its been one season, and he only missed 2 games last year. Wait until he starts missing bunches of regular season games multiple years in a row before you label him a bust.

bosa had two acl tears. kinlaw is dealing with an injury he sustained vs dallas last year. what is old about his knee? i dont get it.

I was listening and when this was brought up, Lynch's tone changed. Let's hope for this still young man he gets better. Hope he has a long career and life ahead of him.
i keep hearing though bad knees are like a bad back. Once you have it then it's your problem for life.

he had this issue when drafted but nope... we just charged right ahead.. i bet he contributes little this year. good thing we got some depth. good thing we restructured jimmy ward so we can find some guy who could at least help. you got a couple of high profile guys like hurd and this guy who will most likely do nothing this year. but its ok.. all teams miss out on players

I think the frustration is the possibility of missing on a first round DL again. ST didn't work out, we traded away Buck and his replacement is looking to be sidelined. That's a tough pill to swallow. If it's a guy like Hurd, it sucks but you're not going to worry too much. When it's your starting 3T and he was supposed to replace an all-pro. That's a tough one.

and i THINK.. but do not know for sure.. that they knew about his knee when he was drafted. if true.. why do we do dips**t things like this
give dude some time to recover...luckily we have depth on d-line to overcome first couple weeks without him. still flashed in rookie year more than solomon thomas ever did

We were told!
I don't think our depth is that great right now with Mo Hurst being hurt. Givens is a good rotational player but not someone you want to depend on; Street has camp hype but been JAG; Zach Kerr is a good player but not necessarily who you want at 3tech.

Who do you think starts at 3t with Hurst and Kinlaw out?

You're literally the only person I've seen say we don't have great depth at DL
If only we kept Buck and dumped Armstead instead.
