I'm still hopeful the Kinlaw pick works out for us, but yeah, we gave big contracts to the wrong guys.

Who do you think starts at 3t with Hurst and Kinlaw out?

Judging by the pecking order used in the last preseason game, it'll be Givens. He was the first to sub in for Kinlaw in the last preseason game.
I thought he would be dealing with knee injuries towards the end of the season from the wear and tear. Not right after preseason . Damn!

I also have givens taking over. I think Givens is actually a better player right now than Kinlaw. Street might be better right now, as well.
I'll worry if he isn't right in a couple of weeks.
Buckner never missed a game
Kinlaw unambiguously stated recently "I have no injury"!! What? They 'have to say what they have to say'? DJ Jones is in there, at least!

Aaaand Givens is also on the injury report about that depth…

I think the frustration is the possibility of missing on a first round DL again. ST didn't work out, we traded away Buck and his replacement is looking to be sidelined. That's a tough pill to swallow. If it's a guy like Hurd, it sucks but you're not going to worry too much. When it's your starting 3T and he was supposed to replace an all-pro. That's a tough one.

and i THINK.. but do not know for sure.. that they knew about his knee when he was drafted. if true.. why do we do dips**t things like this

I think he'll be fine though, just extra precaution taken this year after the injury pandemic of 2020 combined with the insane depth at DL and the fact it's the Lions. Now if this lingers on into the season, then yeah it's time to worry.

Who do you think starts at 3T? Got Jones, Street, Kerr, and AA in the inside if Givens and Kinlaw out. I suspect Street may get the start if they want AA outside 1st down.

We are pretty terrible with rounds 1 - 4.

Thank god for round 5.

At this point, they probably should move AA inside and start Ebukam at strong end until Kinlaw/Hurst come back.

But I don't think they will.

I dunno, I'd feel more comfortable with AA out at big end on base downs. Only way I see the Lions having a chance is if they can run the ball. They have nothing at WR.
that must have been one helluva an airplane ride Kinlaw was on
