The problem has never been can he get out there and practice/play. The problem is AFTER he does these things, the swelling is so bad it puts him out of commission for X amount of days/weeks. We will see

This hence its an issue that is ongoing which the niners are trying to work thru with Kinlaw. Let's hope he can play most games this year bc a lot of us expected a pretty big jump in his performance in year 2 with Bosa And Ford taking away a lot of attention from him, unlike last year with Hyder and company

I hope so. Even though he wasn't some incredible force last year I thought he was pretty good & kept getting better throughout the year. The opposite of soloman Thomas!

We need him - our rush defense is getting exposed without him.

We do need him, we need him to be healthy and to dominate.

I'm taking it as, he had a good practice but they have to see how his knee responds to that practice over the next couple days. I think it's a positive sign for him playing Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Better than doubtful.

Really hope he's ready to go. Jones, Kerr and Givens were getting their asses handed to them in the run game against the Lions

NFL injury terms:
"Probable" = definitely playing unless something goes terribly wrong.
"Questionable" = probably playing unless things get worse from now until kickoff.
"Doubtful" = Isn't playing unless theres a miracle.

When we said Mostert and Greenlaw we're probably a lot more injured than let on, some said stop being so dramatic Well, we were right with those two guys and hopefully we will be wrong with Kinlaw. As of NOW his knee is an ongoing issue whether people want to admit it or not. Even Lynch said we have to see how the knee reacts after practice. That is the reality. We should ask John Lynch to stop being dramatic
I for one think a healthy Kinlaw will be a top 10-15 DT for sure and want him to be healthy going forward not to be managed week to week
I'm sorry what does Greenlaw and Mostert have to do with anything? Who exactly said they were more injured prior to them getting hurt? Please show me….

Greenlaw is day to day.
Oh wait 6 to 8 weeks and needs surgery.
Mostert is out 8 weeks. Oh wait out for the year.
The niners under Shanahan are notorious for not being upfront with injuries. They made Jimmy's into seem like a minor sprain last year. b******t. This goes all the way back to Mike Shanahan and how he destroyed rg3s career.

I have Dee Ford snap count expectations for him going forward.

Jimmy's ankle was about to fall off. Instead of giving out accurate information, they minimize it so fans become irate with the player. Kyle is a very honest man but his injury updates are always complete bullsh*t.

100% Can't trust anything they say regarding injuries
