You know what a broken record sounds like?

"Kinlaw, questionable, knee"

The 9ers have not just drafted a bad player, but one that suffers from a chronic knee condition. There is only one word for a player like Kinlaw, BUST.

He's certainly not a generational player like Leonard Fournette but bust not even half way through his 2nd season? Of course...

Typical webzone talk. Someone isn't instantly producing at pro bowl levels when drafted early = bust.

Kinlaw wasn't the guy I wanted us to draft but fact is our defense has been much better with him this year than without. And that's with him playing less than 100%.

Why is it so hard for you and others to understand that its not JUST his level of play thus far, but that combined with the fact that he has a knee issue that could hinder him from having a long career? Its not getting any better, and was an issue prior to drafting him. Its not just his play when he is out there.

Why is it so hard to give a player some time to acclimate, grow and develop under pro tutelage?

Because fans demand excellence from their couch.

It's really not asking too much that you're top picks make positive impact. Ours do not.

i finally have a NICKNAME for Kinlaw !!! wooohoooo !!!

I shall now call him.... BOXING HELENA !!!

Lol wut

Google search pulls up a horrible movie that looks like 50 shades of grey meets Lieutenant Dan.

It's not hard but he's not the only guy dealing with knee tendinitis. Others are and they're having pretty good careers. Kinlaw's injuries are alarming but he's still out there so people acting like he's a cripple need to chill. Will he be what some pundits predicted maybe not. Is he helping this defense with his presence - yes.

Is he playing like a top 15 pick - no.

Either way he's 1/4 into his 2nd season. Sorry if I'm not willing to call the kid a bust this early into his career. Sure his future may not be so rosy but this need to label young players busts on here is pretty pathetic to me. Literally some of you guys on here throwing it out like it gives you sexual pleasure to do so.

"He's a BUST!"

Big and tall and that's all !!!!!!
Every time I see him he's getting doubled so seems to me offenses are at least concerned with him. Let him get doubled so the others can get the pressure.

Nobody expected Kinlaw to be Aaron Donald, but we did expect Kinlaw to be more than just a 2-down run defender--the type of run defenders you draft on day 3 and not 14th overall.

Ding, ding, ding!

Draft is a crap shoot, bro.

He will never live up to Buckner who was what 6 overall ? That was the reality. To be fair to him we should give him credit for his effort gritting through his knee issues and even trying to run down Wilson a few weeks ago.

The problem with him is Lynch and the PR people tried to get cute with him saying he was a steal and we essentially traded Buckner for him and saved a boatload of money for the rest of the team, and that it somehow was really AA that made the interior of the line work.
There is going to be a true #99 stepping on the field Sunday, 1st team 2020 all pro.
2nd team all pro 2019.
Get Buck with it !
so unfair to Kinlaw, huge shoes to fill, Kinlaw can barely stay healthy let alone fill one of Buckner's shoes.
So far he sucks. What has he done?

He was supposed to be the next Buckner.

He doesn't have to be the next Buckner but he has to be a better pass rusher than he has been. He's done very well for us vs the run but spending a top 15 pick on a run stopper isn't it. He's shown flashes rushing the passer and pushing the pocket but it has to be something that's more consistent.
