What happened

No idea but that's his IG story tonight lol

I don't have social media so I have no clue what that means. Lol

Doesn't mean anything. People putting on their tin foil hats and making wild assumptions.

it doesn't, but how many pro athletes do you see posting stuff like that? I was thinking it may be about whos the starting QB, but again im honestly just speculating. Thats being said its not like Kinlaw is a foundational piece of the team... who cares what he thinks lol

I was watching Crock earlier, and he brought up some stuff about Kinlaw that I hadn't heard before. Crock said his connections at South Carolina told him Javon Kinlaw is mentally volatile due to his rough childhood, and that you don't know what version of Kinlaw you're going to get on a day-to-day basis. Simply put, sometimes Kinlaw's head is in football and sometimes it isn't.

Well bless him and I hope he gets help for that BUT I point my finger out scouting AGAIN.

Trading Buckner seems to be the spiral down at this point. I want to see Kinlaw tossing cats like bowling pins, but he has not shown much and all we worry about is his knee.... its just a terrible move in hindsight. we drafted 3 first round d lineman in 4 years? Bosa is amazing but was hurt. Thomas sucked until he left (wow) and kinlaw has done nada so far.

Not ideal but back to his post...we have no idea what it is about. Obviously fans love to speculate that any time a player posts something cryptic that it is football related.

It literally could be one of his financial advisers tried to f him over or maybe he's talking about women...speculation is fun but ultimately we have no idea.

Or maybe he's seeing all this Buckner talk and it's going to light his ass on fire Sunday night. Personally now that my daughter is here and I have so much more important things to worry about until we see problems actually come out on the field or off the field with our players I'm not going to worry about it.

But back to the things we do know about...need Kinlaw to get healthy (hopefully the bye week helps get him closer to 100%) and see him take those steps forward as a pass rusher.

It Sounds like the 9ers didn't do their due diligence.
Do the Niners have a scouting department that does this job? If not, Then that's the problem. They should have people who's sole purpose is to scout talent all year round and not just their ability on the field but injury history, their family background, how they grew up, Their mentality. The HC tells the GM what the team needs and the GM tells the scouting department.

Unsubstantiated gossip. He's been stable since coming here. That's what matters.

Alright I'm done defending this dude...I got the pick because there was a good chance this kid could be the next Chris Jones, a lot of the same qualities and starting out the same (raw but stupid size very athletic). It was all there, just needed to be developed...well can't do that sitting on the bench (Lance knows that).

BUT once again this FO poo poos on possible health issues like SF never deals with it... I mean WTF are people drinking in Santa Clara?? Lamb was staring you in the face. Nah were gonna take BA instead who's film was NOT even close to as impressive. Why does the draft have to be so hard for these guys? I know we're all just dumb fans, but it seems like a lot of us are better at evaluating guys then whomever is getting paid 6 figures over there.

They get too cute with their picks. It's that simple.

Nick Bosa is literally the only pick they've drafted where I felt they correctly made the obvious choice. And even then we were concerned they'd take QW or Josh Allen.

agreed...it was so annoying how people in here were actually selling on how Allen would be better That was the easiest eval any team could do and we still thought they'd f**k it up and go QW lol.

I've really had enough of this FO, Lynch is over his head and I mean what does Peters really do? Let Kyle coach and that's it. We need a legit GM that's had years of scouting and grinding film...Not a b******t mouth piece who sounds like a politician.

Who are you done defending? Lynch or Kinlaw? Maybe Kinlaw needs the reps to develop but what does that have to do with Lance? Why even bring up Lance and try and claim that Lance knows he can't develop on the bench as if that's fact? The rookie QB can learn a lot through practice and film study of the offense. I can see both sides of the argument but there's no need to act like your side of the argument is fact. Lance should be seeing the field because "he knows" he can't develop on the bench? Cmon man.

BOTH.

Lance sitting on the bench is not developing him like he should be....same s**t with Kin. What is he learning by being hurt and not playing? Nothing that's what. Players need reps to improve, this has been discussed an nauseum.

1st string offense get's at least 95% of the reps, Lynch said this when talking about Lance playing 2 weeks ago. So what is Lance learning right now? Kyle said he already had a good understanding of the playbook months ago. Watching film means nothing when you can't apply it on the field. Game speed matters, you can act like you know where to go but when JJ Watt and Jones are coming at you, that's a totally different thing.

I'm not gonna turn this into a Lance thread....they've been piss poor at their evaluation of talent overall and I hope that didn't happen with Lance.

Man, respect here. I feel your pain and frustration big time.

I'd even take it another level. If Lamb or Wirfs came here, would they be just as successful? I hate that I'm even asking this.
