Lynch has laid a couple of eggs recently.
more like a dozen
We also went from trash to being in the super bowl but that's none of my business
Trent Baalke also put together a playoff and Super Bowl contending team three seasons in a row, but no one remembers that either. How many winning seasons now with Lynch running the show??

Deciding if a player is a bust depends a lot on what you expected. Dod you expect a pro bowler? A starter? Just a guy that can play and contribute? There are some that estimate about 50% of draft picks are busts. Even 1st rounders have about a 25-30% bust rate.
Most of the time it's because a team over projects how good he will be in their system. The other big reason is because of health issues which is often the case with the Niners. They seem to take a lot of chances on players injured in college but since I don't follow other teams I don't know how they compare with them.

He's also no longer a rookie...all criticism is fair game especially as his play shows his development.

I don't think Aiyuk is a bust. Yet. Thomas is certainly not playing like a bust in Vegas. Which does bring up the question of whether we're drafting the right guys for our system, using them correctly and developing them.

On the positive side we won't visually have to see him not living up to his draft status.
