On the positive side we won't visually have to see him not living up to his draft status.

I guess Nike was right to put his jersey on sale for 30 bucks. Damn they got me good.
We c/should have had Ceedee Lamb.
Could've had a badass receiver instead we ended up taking a 20 year old with bad knees and Dante Pettis 2.0

How many first round busts does this regime get? I count 4 so far, foster , Thomas , aiyuk, kinlaw , only pick in the first they hit was Bosa, 1st round is reserved for playmakers and those 4 have not fit the bill and let's not forget the 3 first for Trey that TBD , I get they have a long leash because jed wants to justify firing harbs but geez this regime setting the franchise back by missing so many 1sts, I'd rather play the rams approach with this regime and just trade our firsts for proven talents, cause this regime has shown they can't evaluate

I don't think Aiyuk is a bust. Yet. Thomas is certainly not playing like a bust in Vegas. Which does bring up the question of whether we're drafting the right guys for our system, using them correctly and developing them.

McGlinchey. Also, don't forgot that this regime cannot seem to let go of the previous regimes 1st round bust, Ward. What a joke this has all become.
Good thing we getting Givens back who's better anyways

Trent Baalke also put together a playoff and Super Bowl contending team three seasons in a row, but no one remembers that either. How many winning seasons now with Lynch running the show??

Say what you want but McCloughin could draft and would have preferred him ultimately as GM but he had personal issues he had to sort out. I wouldn't be against replacing Lynch with Scott and negotiate some sort of truce with Shanny.

The McCloughlin thing was a shame because Scott was a great talent evaluator…unfortunately, you do have to factor other things, and Scott had a problem. But before I would think of hiring someone to replace JL, I would first want to know EXACTLY how a draftee, FA, or trade is decided and by whom.

To date, nobody seems to know for certain, who, Exactly, the hammer is when it comes to making player picks….and if Paraag is any part of that except for contract deals….then he is the one I would schid can …not JL.

I DO recall, that when it became apparent Harbs had no idea when or when not to throw a red flag, somebody bird dogged it and it turned out Paraag was making the red flag calls shortly thereafter. So he has a track record of getting involved in the football aspect of FO, also.

I think the wrong guy is getting blamed for poor choices. In talent, REuben, for one, but the others…we don't really know. Besides early on, and later too, he was just part of the talent Evaluators…like we heard initially, John picks 90, KYle picks final 45. I still have seen no one prove that wrong meaning KYle and maybe Paraag alone have that power…replacing JL in that case would Not change anything.

Some of you folks out there please prove Paraag has nothing to do with picking talent and please speak up and let us all know how talent is picked, one way or another. Until then, I don't see why replacing JL would help anything

The worst part about this pick was the consensus amongst fans for Ceedee Lamb. I can't recall many 49er fans on here or elsewhere on the web that didn't love CeeDee Lamb. There was definitely some disagreement about Tristan Wirfs, but everyone loved Ceedee Lamb.

24 year old with a knee problem. Everything is fine, just fine.
He's just saving himself from additional wear and tear until the Trey Lance era kicks off.
Is it now safe to worry?

There were only two options and both were right: Lamb or Wirfs
There's always a chance that surgery will fix the problem. Every one is different so let's see how it goes if he ends up doing it. Better to have the surgery than to keep trying to play the way it is.
