I am so tired of next year with these players.. next year.. its always next year. and then next year comes . dumping buck. signing him with red flags on his knees was the start of this teams descent. the homers think this guy will rip guys heads off next year.. next year.. lol. good god with this regime and these types of players we get no matter who the gm is

I agree. The niners are basically the Oakland A's of football: always looking for moneyball deals and players instead of going with common sense.

No doubt we'll be hearing the same thing next season too, regarding his knee Issues.

He's 320+lbs, I'm not sure how much better his arthritic knees are going to get at that weight with or without surgery.
This has to be the worst regime I've ever seen at drafting. My god they suck.

I think someone mentioned bucks durability when we traded him was gonna be hard to replace, don't think dude ever missed a game either , the best ability is availability

Didn't he lead the NFL DLine in snaps his rookie year? His durability was superman like.
This pretty much sums up the niners medical staff, had to go offsite for another opinion and procedure. Should of gotten this fix correctly in the off season.

Each of their first 3 drafts netted an All-Pro…

Makes too much sense to have it addressed in the offseason.

Stay 4,000 miles away from our staff like Bosa if you ever want to get healthy from a surgery.

UUnreal durability a throwback to the old days when d-line played every single down. I wouldn't be surprised if he sets modern-day records for SNAP count. So what if he's not Aaron Donald? He's pretty damn good and was there every play
The fact that we drafted a guy with knee tendinitis coming out of college is mind boggling, and giving up an all pro defensive tack to make it happen is beyond comprehension. Tendinitis is an overuse injury and in his case the overuse was caused by playing football, so unless he stops playing football it's going to come back.

It is mind boggling, but they just keep on doing it.
Doctors often are unsure if surgery is needed and will allow a player to continue to try and heal on their own. That's sometimes the best option rather than an invasive procedure. In Kinlaw's case it became obvious after getting a 2nd opinion that surgery was the best route. Many doctors advise getting a 2nd opinion before having surgery. They don't always agree on what the MRI shows. He's still young so even if it take s an entire year to recover it's worth doing. If the surgery isn't successful then he ends up on the scrap heap.
We should have given up on our wet dream for dee ford and kept buck. The first six games with bosa and ford were so compelling though i can see why we chose to roll the dice. It just wasnt common sense after dees superbowl performance

From what I remember, Ford wouldn't have saved them much if he was released based on the way his contract was structured. This was all about money, plain and simple.
