Ugh. You know he's got health concerns. Now, if this was one of the most dynamic interior pass rushers you've seen, OK, I'd consider taking him at 15.

But...he was never even that. In fact, he was the opposite of that.

What exactly was the thought process here?

The worst part is the nugget we got from John Middlekauff this season where someone at South Carolina told him that Javon Kinlaw is somewhat bipolar as a football player, and that coaches struggled with Kinlaw's focus.

I'm paraphrasing, but it was basically, "Sometimes he's(Kinlaw) into football and sometimes he's not."

Great quality to have from your 14th overall pick in 2020.

Dude. I didn't even hear about that. Kid has had a helluva upbringing. Might have some other stuff going on too.

This guy needs to get healthy and actually live up to his potential. Maybe he should ask Arden Key for some tips on how to rush the QB from inside.

We lost Buck and I think they were looking to find a good player.

Way too early to give up on him.

I haven't heard a word on his rehab - have any of you?

Need Kinlaw to become a monster in the middle. Him and re-sign D.J.

Wreaking havoc in the middle is what I want to see from Kinlaw next season.

yup

i believe DJ Jones will be a cap casualty unfortunately

So after Kocurek gets career production from Hyder, AA, Key, and Ebukam, people come here to be sour about Kinlaw. The ONLY player who he couldn't do anything with was Solomon Thomas and Kinlaw was never at that level. A little patience. I have no concerns about Kinlaw. His knee holding up, yes, but him being a good player? NONE. Looking forward to our good problem of him having to beat out AA.

The biggest issue with Kinlaw by far is his health. Hard for a young player to progress when they can't practice or stay on the field regularly.
This pick has set us back. We needed some play making besides bosa yesterday at DL.
I forgot all about this dude

They will have a very significant amount of salary cap space available after Ford and Jimmy.

Given Kinlaw injury he needs to be resigned.

I don't see Jones going anywhere

Hope I'm wrong but he will never play a full season and will probably be cut/release in the near future
