And Kocurek has gotten every D-lineman not named Solomon Thomas to produce.
The issue with Kinlaw isn't talent, it's availability.
He'll shine backing up AA then we trade him in 2 years for a 1st lol.

If we can get 1 full healthy season out of Kinlaw, I would take at this point. We're going to need him next season to replace D.J

I'm fine trading him if he has any value, feel like he damaged goods and his play hasn't been great, take it as another bust and move on sooner than later , we fine with key , feels like another jonas Jennings to me

Yeah, he's been always hurt.

Kinlaw wasn't always injured. It was more of a chronic condition that caused him to go on the IR. He's been treated with platelet therapy which is a hit and miss procedure. For some it's miracle cure and for other sit doesn't help much. I haven't heard how he is doing since they performed it. I hope that doesn't mean that it was a failure.

From what was said it was the injury vs Dallas not past issues…the therapy/surgery on his knee this past off season didn't sound like it went well…hopefully the surgery he had this yr fixed the issue.
the physical skill set and drive are through the roof…just needs to actually play football.

I think he missed one game through college.

But...he was never even that. In fact, he was the opposite of that.
What exactly was the thought process here?
I think picking for a positional need and not taking the best player. I don't recall who went shortly after him but if we didn't have a clear stud maybe trading down should have been the call. The cranky knee or knees was a Baalke special

Chronic usually means red flag 🚩 in the Draft. Our team always thinks they can fix these permanent problems.

You may be right. I was under the impression that the injury just aggravated the condition. Whatever the case, it would be nice to see him get back healthy but I'm not counting on him.

Didn't we hear when they went back in they'd so covered a partially torn acl and cleaned up everything else as well? I recall Kyle saying they were very happy with what they discovered and believe he should be on the road to 100%

On another note, I wonder if he gets any work at DE just to make sure our five best are on the field. Basically fills AA's old role. Keep AA permanently inside, unless Kinlaw keeps his run stuffing ability and becomes a top-5 rusher from the inside.
