And that's not a slight at DJJ because he's a baller, but damn, you expect way more from the 14th overall pick.

With the knee issues and going into year 3, yeah I'll take what I can get

Baby steps.
Strip him of #99, he doesn't deserve the number.
Balmer says take # 96

I wonder if he should try to shed 10-15 pounds to put less strain on his knees.

I mean the dude is already pretty lean for an IDL. He'd likely be losing more muscle than fat if he were to cut.

I like him lighter with more twitch. He not a power guy until he can explode into contact.

lol he has six pack abs at 315. I don't think he has a weight problem. Its technique and durability.

Agree. DJ Jones also had injury probelms early in his career. Hopefully Kinlaw can put this injury thing behind him the way DJ Jones did.

Hope + Optimism = Faithful!

Textbook Stockholm Syndrome.

Too funny. Love that.

At least this year we won't have many realistically thinking we'll make a Superbowl and be in position to win it.

This is clearly a, "Let's see what we have in Trey first" kind of year. Every action and inaction the FO has made has told us that.
If Kinlaw follows the script he will get a hammy or ankle injury early in camp and be sidelined. He may or may not make it to opening day. Come to the 3rd or 4th week he will be shut down for the season. There could be another procedure and he will be declared ready to go 100% for 2023.

That'll go for Hurst too. Kinlaw is learning!

Wow fans really being disrespectful to Kinlaw. Hoping this dudes knees are right and proves the doubters wrong.

They said that about Lattimore.

How about following what most of the other teams flagged: this dude has chronic problems and shouldn't be drafted.
Even if Kinlaw had healthy knees, anyone that turned on the tape realized this dude was so damn raw and a giant risk to draft that early. This was my first brief eval after watching some his tape during the draft. Has anything changed with Kinlaw going into his 3rd year? This sounds exactly like him right now.

My thoughts on JK:

Dude is a boom or bust prospect. The guy is raw as hell. Most of his production on the field is him simply kicking the guy's ass across from him by virtue of being the more athletic and talented individual. There's no go-to move or counter. He simply tries to bully the guy across from him the majority of the time. There's no doubt that this dude is insanely gifted. He's over 300 lbs but looks like a chiseled edge rusher. But he's extremely raw, plays with little technique, and rarely demonstrates a pass-rushing plan.

There's going to be a lot of pressure on the DL coach of whichever team drafts him to coach him up.
