His injury had nothing to do with "arthritis" dude was basically playing on a torn ACL. A couple teams said he has a chance of having arthritis down the road not one single team took him off their boards or failed Kinlaw's physical

Let's at least get the story straight before hating....

My bad he was flagged as "At risk for arthritis" coming out of the draft and since he's been in the league he's had nothing but knee issues.. hmm.
Imagine if Kinlaw and Banks both bring it next year

I'll just be happy if they are dressed for the games.

Understatement!
I think people often forget Kinlaws very very good rookie season when he was healthy. Even if he can duplicate that season, being good against the run and just solid against the pass with pass deflections (he had four pass deflections and a blocked field-goal in limited time) , that would be a small drop off from Jones and put us still in the top 10 against the run.

I watched every single game, some multiple times. In no way would I ever describe the healthy part of his rookie season "very very good." Honestly, I am really unsure as to what you were watching if thats what you came away with.

Now I will say that he showed some promise and flashed on occasion. Would have been nice to see if he could have improved on that and had a nice 2nd season, but we all know how that went. I just think saying the healthy part of his rookie year being very, very good is revisionist history. He wasnt bad.

Huh? Kinlaw was okay as a rookie and that's mainly as a run defender. He never dominated an entire game and didn't show much as a pass rusher, which is ultimately what's going to define him because nobody drafts an interior DL 14th overall to be a run stopper. I'm still waiting for the one play(JUST ONE) where Kinlaw absolutely dominates from start to finish as a pass rusher.

Let's not make stuff up to make ourselves feel better about the pick. Kinlaw--up to this point--has not been a good pick.

I'm not making anything up to make myself feel better I just thought for a rookie he did very well. I'm just not used to our D lineman getting pass deflections or a blocked field goal or an interception for a touchdown. Maybe some other Niners players did that a couple decades ago. Maybe some people forget to realize that rookies often don't make a huge impact

I think Kin's back.
Also worth remembering that Kinlaw played his rookie season with zero preseason due to covid restrictions, the only time that happened. His performance needs to be seen in that context.
