What does he mean we revived him. Does that mean he was ready to quit football before we drafted him

Watching his rehab videos, just using common sense, Anyone else feel like all these high speed football move stretches with weights is a recipe for disaster? Especially after surgery?
I feel like in general today, everyone just over thinks and over compensates and throws common sense out the window when it comes to everything. good old squats, crunches, bench press and play some football.
i interview high school football coaches in my job and a old school coach told me. his teams who were his best teams were made up of farm kids who bailed hay by hand in the summer time. lol
For real. All these high tech exercises and we are still constantly injured. Seems like a waste. When I watch our players do those quick twitch moves with weights involved I cringe.
In what world was any of those movements high tech??? The only move that was unconventional was that move in the rack where hes pressing up and forward. But even that aint nothing out of this world. When I think of stupid movements I think of stuff like squatting on a bosu ball.

I can't wait for this cat to shut some of our more insufferable contirubtors the hell up.

Haha. I mean, who should be upset over a 14 overall pick who's now relegated to a NT role who's given us nothing when we needed it the most (last year).
If he plays well going forward, he'll earn the right to be supported like so many others before him (e.g. Ward, Armstead, etc.). And he'll rightfully be praised accordingly.

- Hes probably been dealing with tendinitis for years. You can play with it but then it doesn't get better and you can have a flare up which will put you out for weeks on end. Depending on the severity it can take over a year for your body to completely heal, then you have to slowly start over lifting weights.
- I've dealt with tendinitis quite a bit. You can still go but you can't go 100% or you risk a flare then you lose all strength and are out for 2 months just to feel "okay" and risk it happening again

For real. It sucks ass. I can't even imagine having that in my early 20's too. Brutal.

To hopefully contribute to the IDL rotation? What are you upset that they gave a guy with very good upside one of the cheapest deals in the league?

Fans are upset over everything...let's be real.
Last year? Pretty sure they had a good DL without him, no? Healthy Kin is a only gonna make it better IMO.
Nah if you can't support him when he's down, you shouldn't get the glory of praising him when he's doing his thang

I hear you. But we could have really used another pass rushing 3T last year too (with Hurst out) and we lost another year of development.
It's not his fault he's down. He was drafted injured and only got worse. And we just haven't gotten any value with him so fans SHOULD be peeved about this esp. given the FO's track record.
Hopefully this is the year he's actually healthy and realizes his potential and we get the value now that Jones is gone. We're going to need it.

Oh I get that...YR1 to YR2 is huge for development and a guy like Kin needed that.
I disagree he was drafted "injured" he legit got hurt vs Dallas and the original surgery they gave him didn't fix what was really the issue. Seems like he was basically playing on a torn ACL or something close to that after the fact (heading into 2021).
Fans get peeved about everything. They didn't like a pick, so they will s**t on the player regardless...it takes a whole hell of a lot for those fans to change their mind on a player, believing they're smarter than the team that picked him (we've all been there)...Like it really matters what they think end of the day lol.
Yeah the goal should be to stay healthy and improve as the season goes...you could see the glimpses his rookie year on why he could be an animal for this DL. Like a lot of young players, they need to figure out a proper training/recovery program and stick with it. Now that he's healthy he's gotta find that out. Dudes like Ward/AA did it and have become more reliable in the process.

Fans have a right to be upset. We traded away one of our most consistent, productive players ( Buckner ) for a guy who so far has been Injury prone and done very little. Imagine fans having an Opinion on their own players
