The defense missed at least two sacks on Dak yesterday because they didn't wrap up or let Dak slip out of a tackle.

And you're going to blame that on Kinlaw?

I have been looking for the play I described but have come up short so far. He was so lost people in my section were actually laughing out loud.

Are you sure you were at the game and not a comedy club?
Kinlaw was the lowest rated defensive player per PFF (amongst players with more than 20 snaps )
I truly feel this man needs a position change. He just isn't impactful as a DT. But his strength and athleticism could be potentially maximized as an offensive linemen.

He would be a good bouncer at the club
I hope he's still trying to get right from the injuries because he looks so slow and labored out there. He's lacking the explosiveness that made him such a tantalizing prospect. I forgot to mention that he had everything from his wrists to both ankles tape up. That could be why he's playing so stiff and slow out there, but what the hell is he dealing with now?

I've given up on him becoming a pass rushing force. He's a robot out there. Every rush is power, and it's the easiest assignment for opposing guards. Kinlaw doesn't bother using his hands or trying to disengage.

Almost every time it's a rush opportunity and Kinlaw is out there with Armstead, Kinlaw essentially neutralizes our interior pass rush because the center always slides towards AA to double him because they're not worried about leaving Kinlaw 1-on1 with the guard, and then Kinlaw gets stonewalled 1-on-1 by the guard.

Yuck. Damn shame he's got all the talent in the world. Guys like him don't grow on trees, I'm just not seeing the growth.
At least he's consistent.

I hear you. He needs his health. If he could actually learn technique he would at worst be a average starter imo. Right now I see now explosiveness at all. Easy to type as I am sure his knee is still on its way back after everything its been through. I just hope it does come back lol

He's not even that. Just a rotational guy

This dude is not good on short yardage situations. The kid gets pushed around and pushed back.

or am I thinking about Hyder???

Hyder. He moves well straight ahead, but doesn't have lateral quickness. Maybe issues with the knee.

Hes nothing special but him and armstead are essential for not letting us get gashed up the middle bad by the run.
