HASAN Ridgeway should of been the flex. Kinkaw can't even run or set the edge consistency. His technique looks like garbage and his tough guy attitude works for Grant Cohn. I'm disappointed and we could really use a capable interior guy, not a gimp

What's the status of Ridgeway? Is there any chance he plays?

I thought he was put on I.R. Done for the season.

Ridgeway was put on IR. They used the last IR to return on kinlaw when Ridgeway was a possibility and is supposedly healthy enough to play
For what it's worth, Lane Johnson gave Kinlaw a quick shoutout recently during an interview with the Long brothers. Said he was really good against the run.

If only people could detect sarcasm. Unfortunately most can't
First we should have kept Buckner, then we should have kept DJ Jones. So much wasted on account of banking on Kinlaw.

Imagine if we also kept K'waun, Eman was healthy, and we drafted Parsons.

Yep, Shanahan said he would be out 6 to 8 weeks with no surgery required. Jan 29th is exactly 8 weeks. My best guess is if everything went well, he might have been available last week if not this week. Instead, we activated the Gimp.
Let's hope Kinlaw's been saving it up for these next 2 games.

Yeah, we might actually have a higher ranked defense if we did those things. . .

I wish people would stop saying this. There is no tangible evidence that Parsons even would have been considered if we didnt trade up.

Just imagine for a brief fantasy moment and then let it go. Lighten up, Helmet!

There are so many posters who are saying it as if it was either trade up for Lance or draft Parsons. Sorry if you are not one of them and were just speaking as if it was a dream scenario. Hard to tell the difference between posts.
Kinlaw for all of his amazing gifts is likely playing for his job this week. Liked him as the successor to Buckner at the time, but injuries have derailed his progress and his potential. Niners have shown that they can find gems late in the draft or in free agency to fill spots on the DL. Kinlaw better have an impact this week or he may be cut or traded away this coming offseason. Rooting for the kid to do well.
