I see what you have been saying. I think a large part of his lack of development is due to missing time on the (practice) field, due to his knee injuries. I don't know if his knees will magically get better, but his health is critical in getting practice reps. Him continually getting rest days just to manage his knee is not the path to success.

Yeah, I said the same thing during the offseason. Sadly, I think this is the story that defines Kinlaw's unfortunate career.

This is why my expectations aren't very high for Kinlaw going into the 2022 season. He's spending the majority of his time right now focusing on rehabbing that knee and getting his body right and not honing his skills.

Here's to Kinlaw breaking out in 2023.

Crant Gohan was right about this guy lol mook dawg is hot garbage
Definitely the worst pick of the John Lynch era, just inexcusably bad and will hurt this team for years to come. Had a PFF grade of 29 this postseason.

As bad as it was its nowhere nears as bad as the Solomon Thomas pick.

The Thomas pick was bad because of the draft slot.

The fact that we also traded Buckner for Kinlaw and he's failed to live up to what Buckner did hurts Kinlaw as well.

I feel like it's hard to blame them for that, it really was considered a one player draft with Myles Garrett and Solomon Thomas was pretty much the only option at 2 by the draft. Kinlaw wasn't even very good in college, was red flagged by multiple teams, and basically every player that people wanted to draft with that pick have gone on to be Pro-Bowl caliber players.

Solomon Thomas was a #3 overall pick over Mahomes & Watson.

Kinlaw probably can't even stop Buckner's sack celebration.

Mahomes was considered an early second round pick until pretty late in the draft, I don't think any team would have taken him 2nd overall. And is missing out on a serial sex predator still considered a bad thing?

If our scouts and coaches know anything about QB's they would have seen what Andy Reid & the Houston Texans saw in these guys.

Watson didn't have these problems during the draft so we can't make that excuse. But since we are talking about character concerns, you do realize that we traded up to grab Reuben Foster in that same draft right? Foster was available because there were character concerns.
the draft is a f**king crapshoot man
I seriously think if we did draft Mahomes , he wouldn''t be Mahomes, but more Nick Mullens knowing our f**king luck

I mean look at Reddick being drafted by the Cards, you don't think they are regretting letting him go?

there is no telling in the draft, it's very rare you get a guy that is going to be good actually be good ie. Nick Bosa

Not to derail the thread, but the Cardinals were f**king tards and literally used Haason Reddick as a stack LB/ILB for the first 3 years of his career.
