I agree the hindsight game is just that.. easy to ace the test with all the answers. Kinlaw should never have been the pick as we never should have bailed on DeFo just pay the man, you draft a stud, particularly a front seven stud, pay the man.

Even after we bailed on DeFo, he shouldn't have been the pick IMO. But no, we should have never bailed on DeFo.

It's been 4 years, time to let go.

The conversation is about Kinlaw. In the Kinlaw thread. He should never have been the pick.
He can be anywhere but on the field in 2023.. He is not good.

Its a fair criticism of Kinlaw. Safe bet he won't get that 5th year option and we haven't seen a lot. But the Buckner thing has to stop, especially when considering our defense, particularly run defense has gotten substantially better. Letting Buckner go was the right move as we were able to hold onto a lot of people. Our pass rush would be better, but the defense would be worse. Taking Kinlaw was the wrong move to do with the pick. Both can be true.

If anything the question should be why didn't we opt to move AA inside immediately? That would've opened up A LOT of possibilities with the pick.
DeFo's cap hit 2020 - 2024 (inclusive) = just shy of £100M. He's worth that money, but on a stacked roster like ours, who do you shed to fit him in?

If you picture DeFo in this team we win everything. But if you use realism, some big pieces are missing if DeFo stays.

This guy...lol

Can the team take out a massive insurance policy on him for the 2023 season so when he goes out again we can at least cash out a few bucks.

Apparently he shed a lot of weight this past offseason and that's the reason why Kroft beats him like a drum in practice.
Draft day I wanted Ceedee Lamb. By end of season 1 Justin Jefferson was the WR we should have taken. Aiyuk has ended up a top 20ish WR. Those guys are pro bowler and all pro. I wouldn't have hated Tristen Wirfs at 13 either. That said, we gotta pay him regardless of release or trade so kinlaw is going nowhere. No way he's gets 5th year option. Hopefully he can stay healthy and give us at least 50-60% of our defensive snaps. He's yet to do that any year. Bad pick. Not a great or even healthy player who came with the injury risks we've seen. But we don't have many options. We have none really. So it is what it f ing is

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt say he walked into the playoffs in pre-season form.

I think he is okay/decent/average fornow.

I am really counting on lower round draft picks like Kalia Davis though.

Kin might be best just as a rotation guy.
He attacks the opposing QB like he's treading through quicksand.

Bro hes not even close to the RB, let alone the QB lol..

I cover my pain in this pick with laughter
It's '23 or never.

Going into next year he should be #3 on the DT depth chart behind Armstead and a stout Nose they need to pick up.

I said they would miss DJ Jones and it showed.
He was the wrong pick with his 65 yr old knees.Hes gotta go
