It doesn't appear they can based on the financials, but they shouldn't go into the season expecting anything from Kinlaw. They need to proceed as if Kinlaw will be backend of the roster player ie backup, rotational player.

If I can get a draft pick for him, I'd do it, tho.

Crazy that this guy and Dee Ford are still getting paid while providing absolutely nothing to the team.

If only that money can go towards players like Bosa

Some are kinda anti-negativity in other threads, but seem to like to camp out in this one.

Interesting to see that this guy has nearly double the posts Aiyuk's thread has in a fraction of the amount of games he has played,...although they arrived here @ the same time.

I think most of the fan base gave up on him a long time ago, but the 9ers will most likely give him one last chance.

I just hope they don't make the mistake of thinking he's good enough to be starting just because of where he was drafted.

Next year we get our first and second round picks back. I don't see us moving off of Kinlaw yet, but we could use a rotational guy that can add to the run defense. We grossly missed D.J. Jones this year. We need that type of player.
