I'm getting all the way hyped and setting myself up for disappointment, bigtime lol
it is that contract year..

Every time I try to give myself hope that he's not a bust I get PTSD flashbacks of him being tossed around like a rag doll in that NFC champ game lol...

If you think back to the 49ers vs Ravens Super Bowl you didn't see Justin or Aldon have great games (injuries). I really hope Kinlaw can put it together this year. He's had a tough life and has worked extremely hard to put himself in this position.

I can respect that.
Injuries like Kinlaw had often do more than just keep you out of games. Tose nagging injuries keep you from practicing and working out so when you do get into games you aren't in shape.
This is his year to shine.
I feel good about him being a solid contributor this year after getting past that knee injury.
Hope Kinlaw isn't like Solomon Thomas. They got him inside, moved him outside. Still not good enough to keep. Wish him the best going into this year.
Like most of you, I'm hoping he lights it up.

Good short article on him

Hopefully the Pilates helps lowers his stance more.

Won't fix busted knees.

No, but sadly the injuries have made many people forget that Kinlaw was pretty raw coming out of college, and really needed to work on his technique and pad level. So even if he stays healthy, there is a lot of work to be done for him to improve.

This is a key point. I don't expect anything from Kinlaw with the 49ers. He isn't going to do enough this year to warrant keeping him on the roster. Maybe he will have a good career once he puts it all together, if he puts it all together, but it won't be with the 49ers. At least not unless he comes back on some second stint later in his career.

It's unfair to compare him to Smith or Aldon, as a poster did above, as both of thsoe guys showed out multiple times prior to those injury riddled games.

And thats why I'll never give him s**t, he's a good kid who works his tail off

If Kinlaw looks great during the season they can probally move Armstead outside on occasion if they have trouble finding that 2nd edge rusher opposite Bosa.

Yeah. Too bad. With wirfs Jimmy may have had more time and would have been able to throw the ball to kittle two more centimeters in front of him so he wouldn't have dropped it againt the packers

I mean they're still 25% off bro...
