Still plays like Jane.
At least he didn't get pushed out of the stadium against backups.
Kinlaw just doesn't know how to play football. He was always considered an athlete and project who needed more refinement and hasn't been healthy enough to hone his technique in.

Seems like dude has one move, the bullrush. Then if that doesn't work, he gets himself pushed outta the play.
Too slow, no leverage, and no motor
This is the problem with great athletes who win in college with sheer speed or strength once they get to the league they think they can still just win with athleticism

I love Kocurek but some blame has to be on him as well for this lack of development. Of course Kinlaw's bad health doesn't help.
Who??

My amateur eye thought he sucked but was waiting for your input and Waterbear's.

We should just cut him, no?

Terrible take.

I think I read Kocurek pounded the table for him at the draft.

Nobody is perfect.
Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane

When the coach has a history of developing players and getting the most out of them, he gets a pass from me when one doesn't pan out. Total pass.

This. He turns chicken s**t into chicken salad. So this speaks more about Kinlaw.

He's just not picking up the technique needed to be good at this level. If he stays healthy I can actually see him down the line being good, but that's years away. It's gonna take awhile for it to click with him.

Reminds me of Solly Thomas. Thomas is an all world athlete and dominated with size and strength at Stanford. Got to the pro's and just got moved around with ease.
