When he gets doubled, he gets pushed out of the play. Put him at offensive tackle and let him combo block with a guard to knock a d end or d tackle out of the play. Plus he supposedly is athletic so you would think he could at least pass block somewhat decent.
This is actually a good idea... sounds weird but we need to do something about our oline. As you mentioned above he's a good athlete so maybe he could be a right side guard. It's really rare but sometimes crazy things work. Try it niners kill two busts with one stone lol.
